When the country falls into a huge recession right after you graduate college, finding a job can be tough. And when finding a job is tough, one approach is to create your own work... and that is exactly what I did. Along with my sister, I was able to start a women's clothing line at age twenty-two — with a head full of dreams plus a small chunk of money I'd been saving for something special — and LK Clothing was very special.

From pattern-making to sewing samples, photo shoots to website design, we had to learn it all, and for the most part, teach ourselves. We had a 'make it work' attitude and earned every sale we made. I credit LK Clothing for teaching me to be resourceful, innovative, and self-sufficient.

When I stumbled across the position as a Photo Stylist at OshKosh B'gosh in 2014, I knew, once again, I was being presented with an opportunity that was truly “something special.” I quickly realized this job was setting me on a new and exciting creative career path. Each day I work with a super talented team to create beautiful images and solve how best to display a large range of products from a great family of brands, both to engage consumers and increase sales.

Previously, I worked as the Senior Stylist for OshKosh B'gosh, SkipHop, Child of Mine, Just One You, Simple Joys, and Little Planet. By working closely with creative partners, we created high-quality images to support seasonal brand campaigns.

Currently, I am the Manager of the Photo Studio. In this role, I ensure on-time delivery of photography assets for our entire family of brands, consistent and accurate representation of our product in photography, manage the calendars for both eComm and on-figure photography, specialty project management, and on-figure photo shoot management. I work closely with cross-functional partners including Creative Marketing, Retouching, Production, Wholesale, Site Merchandising, and Product Development.

Outside of my position with Carter's, I enjoy styling photo shoots for both

on-figure and product photography. These projects keep my eye fresh, my techniques well-rounded, and my creativity challenged. Looking back I am very fortunate that every step in my career path thus far has led me to grow as an artist, stylist, collaborator and professional.
